The Customer_Entity Table

The customer_entity table can be thought of as a list of every registered user. This includes every user who has joined your store, regardless of whether they have completed a purchase yet. Each row contains a unique customer, as identified by the associated customer_entity.entity_id, which identifies the customer throughout the database.

This table does not store customers who checkout via guest checkout. If your store accepts guest orders please find more information about this use case: here.
